Stay away from this complex
Crystal the manager was rude, neglectful, and has NO business being an apartment manager.
This place is on the safer part of Lancaster. HOWEVER There’s a huge homeless camp literally right around the corner on Portland Road.It did have cute updated LED lights, and electric Heater thermometers Which was pretty cool. However the carpet they gave us was stained throughout the house,and really should’ve been replaced. It was honestly embarrassing.The dryer they gave me, which you have to pay $50... EXTRA a month for the set, Was an original one, as was the washer, from the 90s. I literally had to go back-and-forth several times, because their solution was for me to takeoff the closet doors, and pull out the dryer so the vent can have more space. Come to find out, it was broken, and I was wasting my money Trying to dry my clothes for 2 1/2 hours each time. Thanks crestbrook!
My time here was OK,Until my dog got attacked by my downstairs neighbors dog, who is a pitbull. It was outside, OFF leash, the owner was INSIDE. NOTHING was done. The dog continues to live downstairs, and would bark Aggressively at me and my daughter whenever we saw it. It was seriously intimidating to walk down my stairs.
The woman directly downstairs from us would pound on the ceiling during all hours of the day time, harassing my daughter, and myself. Crystal would do nothing unless I got her, “video proof”. She never did ANYTHING to address this.
The woman living in that apartment is not even on the lease, But yet Crystal has let her live there for YEARS.
Those neighbors also have piles of trash INSIDE THEIR PLACE, and a foul smell comes out of their apartment whenever they open their windows.
There is a bad moisture problem in the apartment buildings. Every winter the windows get soaked with water on the INSIDE creating MOLD ALL OVER THE WINDOWS. The apartment management blames the tenants for not cracking their windows open all winter long while the heat is On.
There are SILVERFISH, but the management will not spray. They sprayed one time and said they will never spray again.But spraying doesn’t matter when your downstairs neighbors have a pigsty. They just came BACK. Also, having FOUR animals in ONE unit is OKAY, which is why our neighbors unit smelt so DISGUSTING.
It was not habitable anymore, so we broke our lease and left.
I WOULD NOT recommend this complex to anyone.
