I have been living here for a couple years now, both before when this place was called Meadow Creek and after as Ansley now. Some things are nice; there's a lot of pretty plant life and it's walkable to the local shopping center. If that's all you care about, you can stop reading. But dealing with management makes me feel like I'm having an aneurysm. There has been constant turnover so no one working there knows what's going on, and what employees do remain constantly seem overworked and unable… to properly serve tenants' needs. Even the onsite property manager needs to constantly phone home to an upper manager to make any real concessions or changes, and that manager's attention is split between many apartment complexes and so usually doesn't care about you. Communication is garbage, as the phones and emails are randomly and secretly down a lot; even the simplest of questions take weeks to months to get answered, never mind if you have an actual serious problem like getting charged the wrong price for utilities for months on end! Getting maintenance concerns solved has also been really hit or miss, with again them sometimes taking weeks or months to fix even serious issues like mold. I eventually had to flag the maintenance guy down muself. The new management has also been/is still making a lot of changes, ranging from good (fixing lighting and cracked walkways) to questionable (got rid of the car wash and spa for a pet wash?) to baffling (mandatory valet trash??? (For legal reasons I must clarify that this has not been implemented yet but it IS in my rental agreement and knowing these people theyre probably going to implement it without telling anyone else anyway). They also tried to implement $175 parking passes in the middle of everyone's leases, and while they later walked that back (after everyone complained for weeks on end), it seriously undermined my trust in them and demonstrates that management makes decisions with little regard for the concerns of residents. At least in my building, people are moving out in droves, and no wonder with all of the concerns we've been dealing with. These have been lasting concerns, and for over a year we've gotten "we're in a very difficult transition", but I'm really sick at this point of waiting for management to suddenly become caring and organized, and I feel like management is forcing me out of a place that is otherwise nice but isn't worth the price I'm paying at this point.
