These people are scammers, they charge you in advance the month of rent, apart from the amount of checking the background. They show you the apartment by computer and when they finally show you the apartment is totally different from the photos. kitchen and bathrooms in poor condition. And if you disagree with the apartment, they do not return the advance monthly payment that they charged you.

What do Real Estate Agents say???? Location, location, location - well, at Hampshire House, location is the key - at least one of them. Located at 15th and Hamilton Streets in Allentown, PA., it's about perfect. Schools are close, hospital down the street, library couple of blocks away - not to mention some of the best take-out you will find anywhere, like NY Stromboli, best pizza, and China King, great Chinese - they deliver!! Now about Hampshire House - it is a totally secured building. All... guests must use the front entrance and be buzzed in. No unsolicited people wandering the halls. You have one underground parking space - do you know how nice it is NOT to have to scrape your windows in the winter? That is also sheer perfection. Just start your car and go. The apartments are very large - 1 to 3 bedrooms. Hardwood floors. Of course you do have to carpet at least 80% if you are on upper floors to help control the noise, but that is a small factor compared to everyone's enjoyment. There is so much closet space. These were built in the 60's so closets were large and many! Plus, it is NOT the standard "L" shape apartment design. There are so many configurations and each apartment has it's own balcony or patio. There is a nice fenced yard in the back with grills and tables. There is a beautiful courtyard in the front with a fountain. The lawns are beautifully maintained. The maintenance people and housekeeping people keep the marble, floors and carpeting in the hallways super clean. There is an elevator on each side. Now if you have to rely on Bus transport, the bus stop is right out front. Plus, Giant Foods deliver groceries via PeaPod right to your kitchen for a small fee. Morning call is also delivered on weekends. There are also two laundry rooms which are open 24 hours on the main floor. What more can you ask? Everyone here is really nice. Maintenance people respond quickly if there is a problem. You can't help but love it here. Plus you can have pets - if you are responsible and clean up after them. Now you might feel it is expensive. But when you add the cost of a secured garage space, 24 hour laundry, delivery service - Oh, and heat, hot water and cooking gas is also included, the price for our apartments are not high. Here I am surrounded by different cultures of people. I am near local transit, secured by the local police department. I have a balcony, safe, well lighted underground parking. Yes, no hunting for spaces and no shoveling snow. The inside of my bldg looks more like a hotel than any apartment. I don't have to go outside to dispose of my trash and I have the option of elevators or stairs. I don' t have to go outside to do laundry. There is nearby shopping and walking parks.
