The Courtyards at Bensalem

We’ve been living here since 2023, never a late payment, never a complaint. Our hardwood floors began warping bc of the roots (we’re on the first floor), the tile in the bathroom was so poorly done their dry concrete dust in all the corners, mice is a huge issue, but these were things we were willing to live with for the moment. Then came last Saturday our heat went out, we were given one space heater by a drunk maintenance man, and it’s been 6 days, still no heat and we’re told there won’t be... any until Tuesday, this week it’s -4 w a high of 16. I have a 10 year old, they don’t plow or put salt down the parking lots a MESS, you can hear your neighbor tiptoeing upstairs, people smoke in the apt and it fills your apt, owners are sexist and treat us less than human. Roaches and the smell from neighbors . The property manager is uncooperative. Shouldn’t have pets let alone people living there

Roaches all over the apartments, maintenance people leave messes in your unit and come all the time without permission. On the actual lease it says maintenance can come in your unit without permission needed. Apartment is not worth what they rent it out for. Packages always get stolen I literally stopped ordering stuff to my apartment because I never can get home in time before someone takes it.

These apartments are absolutely horrendous. To start off- the parking lot is a complete disaster and there is rarely available parking. The parking spaces are so tight so get used to getting your car banged up by the person next to you. The lots are always full of garbage and glass so hopefully you don’t care about your tires! Next, the garbage bins are always overfull, I see maintenance standing around smoking cigarettes all the time but never see anyone cleaning up the garbage that’s... everywhere- in the grass, on the road, flying around. Dog poop in every courtyard. Hallways are atrocious, rugs are disgusting. Mice and rats will be your new best friends. Maintenance will never come to do anything you request. Where to start so when I came for a walkthrough my apartment wasn’t ready so they showed me a different clean apartment. The day I seen my apartment was the day I moved in and the kitchen drawers had dead roaches, dead roaches in the bathroom as well. Then one day the ceiling started leaking and I kept telling them then one day it fell in. They took 2 months to fix it then the apartment upstairs had bed bugs and what happened I got bed bugs and their exterminator broke my bed and my chair and... they had an issue paying for it, I had to threaten them with a lawsuit for them to compensate me.
