Poor Management and ongoing issues
I would not recommend living here. The building has had ongoing maintenance and quality-of-life issues that have made it a frustrating place to live.
During the summer, the air conditioning has been unreliable or unavailable, and in the winter there have been periods without hot water. Those are basic services that residents should be able to count on.
Ever since GY took over the building, maintenance has been largely unresponsive, with requests taking weeks to be addressed. The trash chutes... frequently back up, creating unpleasant conditions throughout the building.
The elevators have been another major issue. They're frequently out of service, and there have been instances of people getting stuck inside them. It's both inconvenient and concerning from a safety standpoint.
Overall, it feels like management has failed to properly maintain the property or respond to residents' concerns. Given the cost of living here, I expected much better.
