This building is a masterclass in looking luxurious while delivering the opposite of a luxury experience.

From day one, management communication was dismissive, inconsistent, and at times outright condescending. Rather than feeling like a valued resident, I repeatedly felt disrespected in my own home by staff who seemed more interested in protecting themselves than treating people with basic dignity. The lack of accountability and transparency made what should have been a safe, comfortable... space feel tense and uncomfortable.

Policies consistently favored the complex at the expense of residents, and move-out was handled in a way that felt confusing, adversarial, and intentionally opaque. The premium price point simply does not match the level of professionalism or respect you receive.

I've been residing at Kaufmann's Apartment Complex for three months now, and it's been a wonderful experience. The variety of activities offered here keeps things interesting, and it's a great way to meet new people. Ryan and Jake from the Experience team are exceptional—they're always friendly, helpful, and make sure everything is running smoothly. It's truly been a great place to live!

I have been living at Kaufmanns for around 6 months now and cant describe what a breath of fresh air this has been. I came to Kaufmanns from another apartment community in the city and with how my experience with the last community, I was a bit nervous. The team at Kaufmanns is always looking to go above and beyond for the residents here! I was toured originally by Nicholas and worked with Hannah through the application process. I love living at Kaufmann's so much! The staff is top-notch and are always willing to go above and beyond. Ryan and Jake throw the best events, Samantha, Hannah and Nicholas are always so helpful in the office, Christopher, Tiffany and Kim are the best at the front desk, and Greg and his maintenance team like Larry, Fitz and Water are so helpful and responsive. If you need a place in downtown PGH, look no further than Kaufmann's!
