One of the worst apartment experiences I’ve ever had. Trains run constantly, including in the middle of the night, and they go on for long stretches at a time. Frustratingly, there was no disclaimer or warning about this whatsoever. As a result, it’s nearly impossible to enjoy any peace and quiet in the apartment. Beyond that, the pricing is misleading. Great reviews led our graduate student to make this his first apartment in Pittsburgh and I’m happy to say that we’ve not been disappointed!
The unit and common areas are excellent and the entire property management team is just PHENOMENAL! Their responsiveness, positivity and friendliness create a very welcoming atmosphere that invites a real sense of community.

Posting this here so future renters are aware of the pros/cons of living here:

Pros: looks great, cool brick walls, close to CMU (for grad students like me)
Cons: We live on the top floor so less noise problems than the avg unit, but we've had a repetitive roof leak issue in our corner unit. We've tried to address this with management but have used up every tool in our arsenal to try and get the leaks fixed / opt out of our lease. Unfortunately we're stuck here with a newborn, and clear... mold/mildew issues (see photos) from current and prior roof leak issues (like pouring into the living room and needing Home Depot buckets to collect water).
