Beautiful Complex & Great Staff

Five stars is not enough to show how happy I am with Deerfield Commons, especially in regards to the Leasing Consultant Jenny and Property Manager Corey . I have never lived anywhere but a single family home in 42 year so I was a little apprehensive about apartment living until I met for a tour. I feel in love with the fact of not shoveling, and no lawn care maintenance along with all the other amenities that are offered here. The apartments are spacious and the buildings/grounds are kept in… wonderful conditions.The staff made me feel at home. I have now been a resident for over a year and I am so happy I chose Deerfield Commons. Jenny and Corey has always been a great help and you'll be in great hands if you work with them.

Pet Friendly / Quick to Resolve

I have lived at this property for over 2 years and have never had any issues. The office staff and maintenance staff are courteous and handle issues quickly. I recommend Deerfield if you are looking for a place that is pet friendly (they have no restrictions) and peaceful.

Quickly becoming a trash hole

I’ve lived at Deerfield for more than three years. Since that time I’ve seen it getting run down and daily maintenance task skipped. They don’t clean the common areas like they used to. There is a light bulb in the ceiling outside my apartment that has been blown for over a year. I’ve submitted several requests for it to be replaced and it has not.
Management leaves nasty notes around with snide condescending remarks as if to say it’s a privilege to live at Deerfield. Leases are locked in with… even a month to month lease agreement, a minimum of a two month notice must be given to get out. Management seems like a couple of unruly teenagers running a house. If you’re moving to Shippensburg, I would recommend you seek other living arrangements.

Kid and Pet Friendly

My family and I have lived here for over 3 years! We have loved our stay here. The entire team is always friendly and helpful. We loved that we could live somewhere where we could take our 100lb dog! That is hard to find! If you are looking for a great place for kids (there is a park), and pet friendly (no size restrictions), then I suggest coming here!
