South Rock Apartments

My roommates and I had a very disappointing experience with both the apartment and the management. The management staff consistently came across as rude, dismissive, and unwilling to listen whenever we had concerns. Instead of feeling like they wanted to help, we often felt like we were being brushed off.

One of our biggest issues involved our electric bill. We spent a lot of time going back and forth with management trying to get answers and resolve the problem, but communication was poor, and... we rarely felt like our concerns were taken seriously.

We also had cockroaches during our lease, which was unacceptable. Dealing with pests on top of the poor communication made living here even more frustrating.

I never write reviews, but this was bad. I lived at South Rock for a couple years and I always saw neighbors and friends getting charged for ridiculous things. If you live here, make sure you take photos and videos of everything! During move out they will charge you as much as they can, stating that you ruined the walls so they need to repaint, you damaged the doors and now they must be replaced, you did not clean well enough so they needed level 5 professional cleaning services. These may sound... like trivial or small charges but they will amount to $500 (for each roommate, not total) and you cannot do anything about it. Also, do not forget any personal items. I left a religious item by accident when I moved out. They had no sympathy when I realized I forgot it, they told me they found it and threw it out, I was never informed.
