State College Collective on Northbrook

I have been really happy with living at this place! One of the biggest things that stands out is how affordable the rent is, it’s just under $1,000 a month. Which is the best part given everything included. Washer/dryer, en-suite bathroom, a deck, not to mention PSU’s campus being less than 10 minutes away.

In terms of common areas, the place is very spacious and it makes your life much more comfortable even with two other roommates. You still feel at home.

The leasing office staff are also... very helpful and have been nice since day one. Everyone there is professional and always ready to answer any questions or concerns.

The same can be said for the maintenance team. They are also prompt, quick and effective. It has always been a relief knowing that any problems that might occur will be fixed in a timely manner.

Very spacious and safe apartment. Pet friendly abd close to stores, bank, and restaurants. Bus pass is provided and the bus stop is very close. I like the location and am happy with living here.

I've lived here for awhile now and have been happy with the apartment, the community, and staff. Large apartment with ample closet space. I especially live having the in unit washer/dryer. I just wish my unit would have the upgraded flooring. This property is close to just about everything. If it's not walking distance you can use the bus pass that comes with living here. I recommend calling this your home.

I have lived at State College Collective for nearly 2 years and have enjoyed it. It is definitely affordable if you are willing to share a room with someone. It is away from the busyness of campus and provides a bus pass to make transportation easier. It is right next to Walmart and restaurants for convenience. They do snow removal (mostly, some spots have been left covered in snow) and maintain good landscaping. The apartment is a good size with lots of storage space in the kitchen. Maintenance... requests are generally responded to quickly. Baseboard heating leaves the apartments a bit dry in the winter and hard to set the right temperature, but utilities overall are affordable. I like that they have recycling bins at the apartment complex. Parking is readily available, but no assignment, so that can be annoying. Also, you can only get up to three visitor passes at one time, and only one is permanent. This can make gatherings a bit of a challenge. Read More
