I do not even know how strongly I can say do not rent ! Do not even consider it. Even if the rent is free, Do NOT RENT. My family lived there and We tolerated a lot but finally we were able to get out!!! PEOPLE FIGHT FOR PARKING SPOTS SINCE THE PARKING SITUATION IS TERRIBLE. Also kids fighting and POLICE have to come frequently to address issues between tenants. Like living in the worst part of PHILADELPHIA. Staff are RUDE, they treat people like trash. MOLD INFESTATION!!… Behind those walls and paint there is black mold! There are leaks everywhere which cause more mold! You call the office and they don’t answer on purpose because they don’t want to acknowledge your issues.Trust me please, do yourself a favor and do NOT rent. Read More

The cheapest one can find wall-to-wall carpet was installed. It was not even wall to wall because the installation was so poor, there are gaps between the carpet and the wall. Plastic tile in the bathroom. The quality of the painting job is horrible. The paint was slapped against the ceiling and whatever was on the walls was just painted over.
The paint was cheap as well.
Management is saving money on everything to the point it is disgusting. Disappointing.

There is mold in the apartments! The response in person was we are going to get a specialist to come out, but when I emailed about it they told me that they misspoke, right after they send the maintenance supervisor for the second time and said he took pictures but there was no mold in the apartment. They also stated “well your lease is almost over”. My lease is almost up because I refuse to pay $150 more a month for rent, with major mold issues. I moved here 6 years ago. It was then called Bucks Landing. The management was horrible along with everything else. But since the six years of me seeing that things are changing for the better. I was disheartened in the beginning, but now have grown to appreciate my apartment. I have had some not so pleasing situations as far as my rent is concerned and having bad neighbors, but I can honestly say, management here has been very good to me for the most part. Life changes and so does life… situations. They have helped me in so many ways. I am extremely grateful to the Asst. Building manager Ms. Kathy and the Manager. Yes, my building is noisy, but we have small children in my building and it's understandable at times. I think that if you have good neighbors in your building, you should have a good living experience here at Aspen Grove. I haven't had any problems with bugs, because they have an exterminator that comes on a regular. Transportation is awesome for those who don't have a car car. We have Septa buses and the train station in walking distance. There are several parks in the vicinity for the kids to play and the schools are very close. We are located around everything. We were having a problem with parking, but lately management has been right on top of it. I am very pleased now to be here. I can honestly say I appreciate being here at Aspen Grove. Ms. Kathy a special shout goes out to her. We bumped heads in the beginning, but I know now that she only has my best interest at heart. I had to learn to be in more contact with her as well as management. My family thanks you for caring about us. I think the only thing that I would say needs work is the screening of tenants. I wish that we would become a gated community. Not everyone needs to be here. They make us look bad! I also would like to see the changing of new carpet, especially when it wasn't new when you moved into the apartment.
