Maintenance was great

I had a leaky dishwasher, uneven shower bed and broken dryer. Jake and Sean were great in fixing them up. They were fast and did good quality work. They were also very friendly. Happy Birthday Jake!

An absolute 5-star experience at The Charleigh!

What truly sets this community apart is the management team. They genuinely care about the residents and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Anytime a question or maintenance request comes up, they are incredibly responsive, handling it quickly and with a positive attitude. You can tell they take true pride in looking after the community. The property itself is unique and well maintained. The courtyard pool, cozy porch swings, and dedicated dog park create a beautiful, relaxing… environment that feels like a private oasis. On top of that, the location is unbeatable. Being steps away from Upper King Street and local coffee shops gives you the perfect downtown Charleston lifestyle. Highly recommend living here!

Overpriced and rude

Very overpriced and a poorly managed apartment complex. They rely on a great location and a population of college kids who don't know any better to stay afloat. When I moved in the apartment was covered in mold, the sink was clogged, and the flooring was peeling off in what is advertised as (and priced) as a luxury downtown Charleston apartment.

Finally the management team is rude and seems to look for areas where they can nickel and dime tenants. They are generally unresponsive and very rarely… responsive in a timely fashion for what otherwise tends to operate as a corporate rental property. Very disappointing.

On a positive note, the maintenance team is wonderful, timely, and kind.

Nice place to call home

If you are looking for a walkable downtown lifestyle, The Charleigh is the place to be. It's incredibly close to the College of Charleston, the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), and the Charleston School of Law, which makes my commute a breeze. The on-site retail options are a fun bonus. The apartment itself is stylish and modern, though the parking spaces in the garage can be a bit tight. Overall, it's a great spot for students and young professionals. Special shout-out to the office… and maintenance team too!

Beautiful Property in a great location

I’ve absolutely loved my time living at The Charleigh! The apartments are incredibly well-maintained and feature fantastic, modern finishes that make it feel like home. The amenities are a massive bonus—the 24-hour gym, resort-style pool, and cabana area are always kept spotless and are perfect for relaxing or getting some work out of the way. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. The management and maintenance teams genuinely care about the residents. Anytime I've had a… question or a minor maintenance request, they have been incredibly responsive and professional. It’s rare to find such a caring team in a downtown property!
