Upon request, items left in the home can be located and mailed for a fee of $15.00, plus the cost of postage.

Motorcycles, moped motorized bikes, ATVs, go-carts, motorized scooters, jet skis, campers, trailers, or any other live-in moving vehicle are prohibited. Motor vehicles are not allowed on the beaches. For DeBordieu Colony, guests towing a boat must obtain a temporary boat decal and pay seasonal fees. Golf carts must be battery/electric powered and operators must be at least 16 years of age with a valid driver's license. No repairs, cleaning, washing, or maintenance to any vehicle shall be carried out on the rental property. Do not trespass through private property. Guests may reserve the same home for next year by leaving a deposit during their current stay, prior to check-out. All properties are cleaned and sanitized by professionally trained and equipped housekeeper employees using CDC housekeeping protocols, approved disinfectants, and personal protection equipment. Many properties have elevators, which should only be used on check-in and check-out days for unloading and loading, or for the use of the elderly or disabled. Unsupervised children should not be allowed in an elevator. A release must be signed before access to the elevator will be issued. Use of the elevator is at the guest's own risk. Portable grills are not to be used on porches, balconies, pool decks, in garages, or on the beach. Grilling should only be done in open grassy or paved areas away from any building. Firearms and fireworks are prohibited at any time. Guests agree not to cause a nuisance of any kind, cause excessive noise, or display unseemly behavior.
