Apartment is nice, Community going downhill
Apartments are way too small to have a family. Your kids will be stir crazy.
I’ve lived here for over a year now. When I first moved in, it was wonderful! Very quiet and quaint neighborhood and the pool was useable. The apartment is nice and the grounds and amenities are well kept! This is still true. Neighbors were respectful and friendly. Maintenance is great. Really no problems with the apartment and grounds at all.
In the last few months, however, it seems like they just let anyone lease... here. No standards or something idk. The office management must have changed because the manager used to be on top of the foolery. Now the pool has been overrun by the same 3 or 4 families that bring several other people in each and hog the grills and majority of the pool area almost every day. They play loud music no one wants to hear, kids running everywhere, jumping in the pool, screaming, hitting people with their pool toys and it’s just really become an unruly public pool. You kind of have to take off work on a Monday or something if you want to enjoy the pool.. You can hear the kids screaming while inside your apartment. I mean, if they’d watch the cameras they’d see it and say something for the safety of others.
They’re just allowing people to be disrespectful to their neighbors and people who pay to enjoy these amenities. It’s really frustrating. The parents of these kids don’t care. I’ve been hit in the face at the pool a few times and parents just shrug. And they let them just run around. I’ve almost hit a kid just trying to park at my apartment several times because they’ll run in front of your car. The kids are stir crazy , as I said. So they just release them to run wild. I try to be understanding.. how do you control it, once you’ve let it get out of hand. I love it here and don’t want to leave, but the BS that’s allowed around here is truly making me second guess renewing.
I wouldn’t say don’t rent here by any means, but it’s something to keep in mind and is quickly getting very old, very fast.
