The Bradford Apartments

This was a great, simple first apartment. Too bad they got bought out by a greedy group from CA. They are not allowing anyone to renew their lease unless they want to stay in the “renovated” apartments for double the price. I am a single gal that takes care of herself… where am I supposed to go? Where are all of us supposed to go? This is disheartening and cruel.

I like it here so far. Never had any problem with my apt since I moved in. The property is taken care of nicely. The office lady can be a bit rude sometimes I admit.

I've lived here for 10+ years. This place was the cheapest apartments a person could find in Greer without it being Section 8(income restricted). It was cheap because the apartments had been built in the 70s. The apartments weren't horrible as long as you didn't expect too much. Poor insulation. Zero sound proofing. Outdated everything that slowly got replaced after it broke. Once a month the water would be turned off to the entire community in order to find yet another leak. The… previous management did what they could to keep the place standing.

New management now. They want to start making money right away so they think they can charge new apartment building prices simply by replacing cabinets and sinks. The "updated" apartments are the same run down apartments with a new cheap coat of paint which isn't worth the 400+ dollar rent increase. Heck you aren't even going to have a refrigerator with an ice machine. If you weren't looking for the flashy apartment and were more focused on your budget then this place was one of the better places.
