Whisper Creek

Whisper Creek presents quite well. And that's where it ends. Noisy, inconsiderate neighbors. Property manager's response..."There's really nothing we can do to help. If it's after hours then call the police." Outdated appliances...The stove appears to be something left over from when this place was built in the '90s. It works, however every burner on the cooktop is uneven which causes anything in your pans to pool over to one side of the pan. And the oven struggles to maintain even… temperatures.
Dishwasher is the loudest machine I have ever heard. Cannot watch tv or listen to music at a reasonable level because it is just so loud. On several occasions I have attempted to address this issue with the property manager whose response was quite simply, "Don't use it."
Microwave upon move-in, I found it to be coated with crud both inside and out.
Incessant and constant problem with insects. Since day one, there has been an issue with flying insects. The property manager's reaction..."There's really nothing we can do about them. They've been a problem in every apartment I've ever lived in." What kind of dumps has this guy lived in?! They will send the exterminator...who based on the footage of my in unit cameras doesn't really do much of anything beyond spray a chemical around the door frames. The washer and dryer...Units are bottom barrel basics. I found roaches in the washer tub and on the inside rail. The dryer made a loud scraping noise whenever the drum would turn. This is a maintenance issue that was actually resolved!
Light above the stairs in breezeway area between apartments. Placed several maintenance requests to take care of it because its filled with dead bugs so not enough light to illuminate the stairs. 3 1/2 months is still not resolved. Tenant safety obvioulsy not a concern.
These days rental rates are simply outrageously high, and Whisper Creek more than takes advantage of that. As stated above, the place presents well (on the surface), and sweet talks you with their amenities, but you have to ask yourself if the amenities are something management is willing to put their promises behind. So far as I can tell, the only thing this place seems interested in taking care of is the pool and pool area.
If you're considering this property, look elsewhere. Whisper Creek is NOT worth the hassle and utter unhappiness you will be subject to. Read More

I live in Whisper Creek apartments and I couldn't be happier with the complex! The best part of my experience has been the staff. They are so helpful and genuinely want you to feel comfortable. You're not just a resident. The complex is always super clean and is pet friendly. Maintence is always quick to help whenver you need them. The complex offers a pool, dog park and on site gym. I moved to South Carolina from New York and did not know the area so I came to Whisper Creek blind. The location… is perfect as well. There are many restaurants and stores nearby. I've been staying at Whisper Creek for almost a year now. The apartments are nice and the staff are very friendly. Whenever I submit a maintenance request, it gets completed in a timely manner and the complex always hosts fun events for the residents. I would highly recommend Whisper Creek!
