Any repairs will take a very long time if they get done at all. The only thing consistent is the yearly rent hikes.

Paid the application fees, got approved. Asked the leasing agent if I can pay the security deposit by credit card, she says yes. But seems so cool and relaxed that I trusted her that she would hold my desired apt for me. I was travelling from India to the US and around the weekend when the office is closed, she tells me on Monday that the apt is no longer available, someone else got it! Moving next week and have no place to go. Lost $50 as well. Unfortunate that people can't be trusted.

I have lived at Oakwood Estates for 2 months. Love it!! Close to Sertoma Park, shopping etc. I moved from a house & my friends said an apartment would be noisy, obnoxious neighbors etc. Not so.Everyone who has visited has been so impressed with how quiet my apartment is. And how clean & well maintained! Other residents super considerate! And it was so clean when I moved in!! Maintenence people always so awesome about the small issues I have brought to their attention. Very very nice people!!

You can hear everyone that lives in the apartment next to you and every word they say. The people above you walk and you can hear every move they make. In ither words there is no insulation in the walls. Then the office is hardly in the office till 6pm! When the sign says they are open till 6pm! The office sign will say close at 5:15pm 5:30pm. Then when you call the office about something all they will tell you is that its apartment living. Really its not. Its called putting isulation in the… walls so you can hear your neighbors. The place is so cheap but they charge a person an arm and a leg to live here for absolutely nothing. Its completely embarrassing to even invite friends and family over. Read More
