We are so excited to announce that ForRent.com® has been named a finalist in PR News’ Social Media Awards in the category of Facebook | Social Good Campaign! This is so exciting as the teams at For Rent worked so hard on the “#30DaysofGifting: Giving Back This Holiday Season” campaign this past Thanksgiving. This was an opportunity for people in the community to post an Amazon wish list on behalf of a child with toys or anything else that the children might need or want. For 30 days, ForRent.com randomly selected three wish lists per day where little ones received gifts from their list.   This was a wildly successful campaign and, better yet, we had the opportunity to give back to children in need! At the end, 90 people were awarded a gift from their Amazon Wish List and the engagement rate on Facebook reached over 76,000 users, 3,600 likes, shares, and comments, increased our fan count by 1,200 and our star rating to 4.6.  

  We are honored to be a finalist along with some awesome companies like AARP, Pepsi, Kaplan and more. See below for a full list of finalists in the “Facebook | Social Good” category.   Finalists were invited to PR News’ Social Media Awards Luncheon, May 2, 2017 from 12-2:30 p.m. at the Yale Club in New York City. This celebratory event showcased the top social media campaigns and honored the individuals behind them.   Karen Raskopf, chief communications officer at Dunkin’ Brands will deliver the keynote address where she’ll share insights on the future of social media and how to create relevant social experiences. Raskopf will give an inside look at how Dunkin’ Brands leverages digital innovation to build an engaged community and ways your brand can do this too.   Congrats to all of the other finalists! c
