Pine Brook Apartments

Lived here for 3 years and hated to move, but needed to be closer to work. The staff was always helpful and took care of my maintenance requests in a timely manner. The price is very competitive for the area(trust me I looked around as Nashville prices are skyrocketing) and though it's an older complex it's decent. They did renovations while I was living here and made it even nicer. I had issues with my room mates while living here and Mashae really helped me out and even gave me a good rental… history when my room mate ruined it. I lived here a year in 2018. Cons: 1)there were always roaches. 2)doors and cabinets were painted over so often some didn’t shut completely. 3)laundry facility only ever had two working dryers that still overheated. 4)floors were uneven with occasional nails working their way out. 5)the area was central but didn’t always feel safe. The management is very bad ... especially the two employees who are drunk and the other weak employees who work in the office of the complex have no style with people ... and the services are very bad ... and there are no cameras inside the complex

We just moved into Pine Brook on the 19th of May and we like it so far. They really worked with us to get in due to credit issues after our divorces, which we REALLY appreciate. There were a few things that had to be repaired once we moved in but it was taken care of very quickly. A couple of things to be aware of when doing a walk-thru in an apartment or house is to notice how many outlets they have. When we moved in, there were "none" in the main bathroom and only one in the vanity bathroom.… Plus, the one in the vanity bathroom, you can only plug in one thing at a time. I usually blow dry my hair and have my curling irons warming up but unable to do it here. It could be a fire hazard issue that they are trying to avoid (and I understand that) but it's a women's nightmare. (LOL) This outlet only has one plug, and because the light switch is right under it, my dryer will not fit. But, per management before Shae took over, they didn't have any in the bathrooms.
The only other thing that was out of sorts is that we cannot take a bath because there is not way to fill the tub. My fiancée' and I workout a lot and we do a lot of soaking. We have purchased stoppers for the bathtub but because of how the drain is made, it will not hold the water. We are going to speak with them about this to see if it can be replaced or if we have to pay to have it done. I know these are petty things to some people but they are important to us. With all this being said, I have confidence in management there that they will do their best to meet our needs. Shae is really good and she seems to take the initiative to get things done quickly.
