Country Club Was All I Could Have Asked For
When I retired back to Knoxville from Las Vegas a couple of years ago to be close to family and friends, I found apartments priced depressingly close to what I had been paying in Vegas. After a week or so of searching for something that I liked and — and this was a huge “and” — seemed reasonably priced, I found Country Club and quickly fell in love with the floor plan of the 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath townhouse. When I saw that the monthly rent was below other 2-bedroom, 1+ bath West Knoxville... apartments I had considered, I quickly got on the waiting list for a townhouse at Country Club. While I was satisfied with the forecasted two-month waiting time for an apartment of such a desirable value to cost ratio, I was overjoyed when the apartment came through several weeks earlier than I had expected.
I very much enjoyed the two years I lived at Country Club, and I didn’t renew my lease for another year only because I came back to Knoxville to buy a house and recently did indeed find one that well suited my needs. I’ll miss Country Club, however, as the staff there are first-rate. Management is friendly, on top of issues affecting the wellbeing of residents, and always takes the time to listen patiently to questions and concerns. The same is true of the maintenance people, with repair requests always addressed promptly and professionally.
The last thing I want to praise Country Club for is their ability — at least for the two years I was there — to keep yearly rent increases moderate. During the two years I lived at Country Club, my brother lived in a nearby 2- bedroom, 1-bath apartment, and while his last two yearly per month rent increases totaled over $300, mine at Country Club totaled only $90.
If you’re looking for a well-run apartment complex in a good West Knoxville location, I highly recommend you look at Country Club.
