Mediocrity for high $$$
What should be a beautiful, upscale complex, has slowly downgraded into just another place for student housing.
Crowded parking lots with no reinforcement or policy for parking, regular car theft, speeding all over the property, over crowded/ un-family friendly pool just to name a few.
The apartments themselves have beautiful design but they were very obviously made fast and cheap.
Paper thin walls and floors, cheap carpet (that’s stapled loosely into the floors), and nooks and crannies... everywhere for bugs to enter (think baseboards, doors, walls)
Noise was never not an issues whether it was coming from the wedding venue next door or neighbors, and the front desk had nothing but empty threats for residents not respecting hours- and we lived on the top floor so we know we didn’t even get the worst of it.
Pest control was an issues for us the entire time we lived there- spiders, water bugs, and ANTS primarily. There are massive ant mounds all over the property- so many that we would not allow our son to play in the grass.
As the complex’s pest control company would only visit by request and only two times a month, there were never solutions to our pest issues except winter when it was literally too cold for bugs to survive.
That being said- The geese and turtles everywhere are awesome-our toddler loved getting to go on walks and see them, especially in the spring.
The maintenance staff is FANTASTIC- they help as much as they can and do a great job.
Just a lot of money for a lot of regular disappointments. Feels like every other complex except with fancy counter tops and a few modern touches.
Might as well pick any of the others in the area that are cheaper with the same issues. I regret letting paying that amount for fake luxury.
