Epitome of “you get what you pay for”
As a current resident who recently renewed my lease, I can say that I genuinely love my individual unit; the size, balcony access, and affordability were the main reasons I decided to stay. However, the tenant experience overall has been disappointing.
In the year-plus I’ve lived here, I’ve dealt with ongoing roach infestations, misleading maintenance updates, and a property management team that seems disconnected from the actual condition of the building. Every time I raise a concern with the... senior property manager, instead of taking responsibility or showing any real empathy, she shifts the blame to her staff — as if poor communication and disorganization aren’t a reflection of the management itself.
This property has so much potential, but potential means nothing without effort. CGA needs a comprehensive plan to modernize and revitalize the building — from a full lobby renovation to updated units and amenities. Other nearby high-rises have completely transformed their spaces, creating beautiful, well-maintained environments that reflect the rent prices they charge. Meanwhile, CGA feels stuck in the past, relying on location and price rather than investing in the quality of life for its residents.
Until management commits to real improvement and accountability, this building will continue to fall short of what it could easily become — a standout residence in the area.
