I have lived here for 2 years now, it is a very cool building with lots of stuff in walking distance. One of the more affordable places in down town and definitely worth the price for the size and view of my unit!

I’m an attorney based in Memphis, TN, and I’ve lived at the exchange building for several years now. It’s a beautiful, historic high rise that’s centrally located in downtown Memphis, so it makes for an easy walk to Beale Street or the courthouse - on a bad night, both! The rent is affordable and, more importantly, the building is owned by a local family so you don’t have to worry about calling some corporate leasing office every time you need a ceiling light replaced or your garbage disposal... fixed. If you’re in the market for an apartment or short term rental (they offer BnBs too!) in downtown Memphis, don’t overlook the exchange building.
