Beautiful, but beware
Pros
1. Complex-The apartments ARE new, modern & beautiful. These are probably the nicest apartments I have ever had the pleasure of living in. Each building has its own little feature, such as a golf & movie area, a pool & fitness area, rooftop lounge, coffee bar, etc. Personally I think buildings 2 & 3, got the short end of the deal with their features. They do not have much in that regard. The buildings are very well maintained and even my friends have told me they are in awe of this complex.... The roof top lounge is beautiful and free coffe bar is also very nice. The pool area and grill areas as well as outdoor theater and golf simulation are also very very nice.
2. Location-The Cumberland Riverwalk is at the complex doorstep. This is the BEST part of these apartments, being so close to it means gorgeous sunrises every morning and being able to be outsdoors & active every day with an ideal view.
3. Amenities-The Keyless entry to both the building and apartment is very convenient. However thr complex is NOT gated, each of the buildings are secured with keyless access as well as each of the apartments. They also have smart access and smart thermostat control which is nice.
My absolute fav amenity is the 24hr gym, it is honestly the nicest gym ive seen at an apartment complex, but small...more than 5 people working out feels crowded.
Cons
1. Complex- Dog poop is EVERYWHERE literally, people let their dogs poop in the middle of the sidewalks here.
The parking is a "free for all", there is no assigned or covered parking. Visitors can take up any & as many spots as they want. Expect to not be able to park near your building if you dont get home before 5pm.
No gate/fences, alot of residents feel unsafe, when it seems like every other weekend, cars are being broken into (1 weekend we had 5 cars broken into in the same night!) which is frustrating, because almost EVERY other complex in this area is gated. For the rent being paid, this absolutely should be a gated community as well as have cameras for crime prevention.
2. Location- is near a large Homeless camp and they do come onto the complex frequently.
3. Amenities- The Apartment complex is NOT gated, so anyone can drive onto the complex which is scary.
If i had to do it all over again, I would 100% absolutely still move here. Ive met some amazing friends here! But I feel like now there are too many other new complexes nearby or being built to settle for the issues that are happening here.
