DO NOT LIVE HERE
They will not tru turn your security deposit it to you within 30 days and you will have to email them multiple times just to receive it back. Several cars were broken into while I lived there since the gate if often broken. My washer stopped working multiple times as well.

Loved Living at The Dover!
My roommate and I really enjoyed living at The Dover! We're young females and the smaller community feels safe and like-home vs. living at a huge complex. The new apartment manager is so sweet and the maintenance man is quick and lives on site. The grounds are clean and the interiors are a step above your standard rental quality. Can't beat the location with Sylvan Supply, Five Points Pizza and L&L Market all walkable and a Turnip Truck close. If I wasn't moving for jobs I would still be living... there for sure.

Don’t
There is no water pressure. the building has rats. the electricity bill is $100+ to heat a 450 square foot one bedroom apartment. there are gaps in the floor tilling big enough to trip over that the landlord refuses to fix. the air condition units leak water on the dry walls. roommates have the same AC unit hub. so if a roommate likes their room hot and the other likes it cold their AC will break. Management actually sent out a message saying to make sure you and your roommate had it both on on... heat or both on cold. The parking lot gets broken into a lot. don't bother talking to the staff. If it's not in writing they won't do it.

Okay place to live
The Dover was an okay place to live. The apartments were renovated with nice fixtures but there wasn’t a lot of thought put into some of the designs. For example, in the townhomes none of the drawers in the kitchen can open fully because of the oven. The appliances were new but throughout the year that I lived there I had issues with my washer, my dryer, my oven, and the AC. Management was quick to respond and fix problems but there was just a lot of issues. The three big reasons I wouldn’t... really recommend the Dover is the lack of security, the neighborhood isn’t very safe and the gate doesn’t close quickly enough. I have had a complete stranger knock on my door and had to contact the police because he snuck in behind the gate, a girl in the townhomes last year was robbed at gun point because someone snuck in behind the gate. The next reason is the noise from the highway, the windows in the apartments are good but if you’re in the apartments or the A townhomes the noise is very loud. You can barely use the outdoor space in the A townhomes. Finally for the price there is a large lack of amenities, compared to nearby apartment complexes of a similar price, The Dover doesn’t have a pool or gym or valet trash pick up. Overall it was an okay place to live, clean, friendly management, great neighbors, but overpriced and in a bad location.
