Villages at Spring Hill Apartments

This complex is trash. Everything is done for esthetics but nothing for the actual complex or residents. The complex only pays attention to the appearance of the entry but not the entire property. The property has dilapidated buildings & wood structures but their focus is landscaping the entry way to give the appearance of a kept property. The units are old, in need of update and seriously unleveled. Which allows for an influx of outside creatures to enter your home. But currently the issue that... owners believe the complex needs is, community wifi. We do not have a gate that allows or monitors traffic in/out the complex. There are no security features on the units. And we were told that renovations could not be started because the property could not afford it. But we're still paying increasing rent prices. We're also double charged for utilities. You will pay Columbia Power and Water but you also have to pay the complex for the same utilities. The parking lot looks like a patch work quilt because owners decided only certain areas of the parking lot needed to be fixed instead of redoing the entire parking area. It has a roach problem even when they exterminate. Also they allow smoking in the units so even if you don’t smoke the smoke comes in from other units. Have your clothing & furniture stinky.

Beware before you choose this complex, as I was infested with roaches after 2 weeks of being there. I found mice droppings under the appliances in the kitchen and the hot water heater was sitting in a pan of water, and rusting at the bottom. Roaches can live for months on water alone. The management wanted to bomb my apartment, while I was living there for 3 weeks. It was toxic for my dog, so I had to find somewhere to take her. My friend had his PS5 on the dining room table and it was full of... roaches the next morning. My toaster oven even had a few in it, where the ventilation vents were on the side. Gross! The wood on the deck was rotten in places, due to not being maintained properly. And now the apartment wants me to pay for 4 months rent because I didn’t give a 60 day notice.
