I have lived here for four years, but unfortunately I can no longer recommend this property.

For the past couple of months, I’ve had ongoing A/C issues that management has failed to resolve. Yes, cool air comes out of the vents, but it’s so weak that my apartment regularly reaches the 80s during the day. My A/C has been running virtually nonstop for nearly two months, and it still can’t maintain a livable temperature.

I work 12-hour days, so I don’t have the ability to constantly stay home… waiting for maintenance or repeatedly follow up on the same issue. Meanwhile, my dog is left in an apartment that becomes unbearably hot because this problem has been allowed to continue for months.

What has been even more frustrating is how the situation has been handled. Maintenance has entered my apartment without notice, and on one occasion walked in while my fiancée was in the shower. That is a serious invasion of privacy and completely unacceptable.

Rather than fixing the issue, maintenance has repeatedly come in, looked around for a few minutes, and told me everything is “working” while the apartment continues to overheat. At this point, it feels like more effort has gone into documenting the thermostat than actually solving the problem.

I’ve attached photos showing the apartment temperature while a portable A/C unit is running in addition to the apartment’s A/C system, as well as a photo of maintenance documenting the thermostat. The pictures speak for themselves.

After four years of living here, I expected better communication, respect for residents’ privacy, and maintenance that actually resolves problems instead of repeatedly telling residents everything is fine when it clearly isn’t. Amazing place to live. Great location, great service, great living environment. Anything that needs repairs is done timely. It's a great place to live.

Rude staff, bug problem, maintenance that doesn't actually do the work, broken amenities, and high rent.

Been here for a few months, elevators do not work like at all. How can you call yourself a wheelchair friendly place but the elevators don’t work nor get fixed? Staff is completely inattentive and ignores inquiries/emails or calls on issues that need to be dealt with such as roach issues from past residents. Disruptive neighbors that have random yelling sessions at 3 AM. MAA Addison is a nice area in general but I would not recommend living here.
