Barton Hills Apartments

I lived here for two and a half years and had a wonderful experience...I only moved because I left Austin, but I would have loved to stay longer. The location is great, and I was easily able to bike to work downtown on the hike and bike trail year-round. Also, the complex is not run by a large management company, and the entire staff (especially Marlowe) really take pride in the property and will do anything to make sure every tenant is happy and has an enjoyable experience living there. They... really do go above and beyond! The buildings are somewhat older, but they are very well-maintained. Maintenance requests were always completed very quickly, and maintenance is constantly working to maintain and improve the property. It seems owned by some out of state company that cares more about raising the rents than quality remodeling and having substance.

We've lived here for six years an I couldn't be happier. The management has always been thoughtful, proactive, and very responsive whenever there has been an issue. The location is AWESOME and for where it is located the rent is very reasonable. I actually kind of regret written this because now I feel like I'm letting the cat out of the bag. If you are looking for a place near everything but still feel like a neighborhood this is the place for you.
