Awesome experience

I’ve had a really solid experience living at Mission James Place Apartments overall. The biggest highlight for me has been the location and value—it’s in a great part of South Austin with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and downtown, but at a much more affordable price compared to newer complexes.

Roaches

There are roaches and mice in the units!!! Homeless are always in the parking lot. Cars get broken into. They finally put cameras up. Moving as soon as my lease is up!

Do Not Move In Here!

If it's not one thing it's another. Coming up on 15 days without hot water; I've reported the issue several times and still don't have a clear timeline for repair. The roof has been leaking for months to the point that the drywall has been falling from the ceiling onto the floor. They've come by and looked at it and tried to paint over it- I'm sure there is mold in the ceiling at this point. I didn't have access to the gym for a couple of weeks. I called, left messages and e-mails and got no… response. Trash doesn't get picked up when they say it will be. Access to the pool has been locked off several times without explanation. New management seems to be unresponsive, if not nonexistent.

Terrible - look elsewhere

Terrible is a comprehensive description. There was nothing good about our experience. Constant construction. Numerous repair issues. Safety was horrible with the homeless tents down the street. Responsiveness of staff was terrible. We found a new place that is not far for a similar amount that is better in EVERY way for the amount we paid here. Please keep looking!!! Do not get sucked in here!!!!
