Parker Lane Apartments

I have been a Foundation Communities tenant for over seven years (including approximately 1.5 years at Parker Lane Apartments), and this has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing housing experiences I’ve had.

I expected professionalism, accountability, and basic follow-through. Instead, I encountered repeated delays, inconsistent communication, and unresolved issues that extended for over a year—particularly regarding disability-related accommodation requests. Concerns were… acknowledged at times, but meaningful action was often delayed or never fully carried out.

Foundation Communities presents itself as compassionate and community-focused, but in my experience, that messaging did not align with how issues were handled in practice.

When legitimate concerns were raised—especially those involving health and disability—responses were inconsistent, timelines were missed, and resolution was effectively impossible to obtain. This created ongoing stress that could have been avoided with proper management and follow-through.

The property layout also contributes to ongoing challenges. Units are positioned around a central area and playground, which results in frequent and sustained noise during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is something prospective tenants should seriously consider if a quieter environment is important.

Additionally, there have been recurring issues involving disruptive behavior in common areas near residential units, including unsupervised activity and repeated disturbances. These concerns were documented but not effectively addressed, reflecting a lack of consistent enforcement of community standards.

The HVAC systems are another concern. Rooftop units produce noticeable noise and vibration, at times strong enough to be disruptive inside the unit and impact sleep and overall comfort.

After nearly a year of attempting to resolve these matters through normal channels, escalation—not cooperation—became the only way to move things forward.

If you require clear communication, timely follow-through, or reasonable consideration for health-related needs, I would strongly recommend evaluating other housing options before choosing this property.
