Horrible experience
I do not normally leave negative reviews, but future tenants deserve to know what they may be walking into.
Since moving in, I have dealt with a severe roach infestation throughout my apartment, including in my bed, bathroom, kitchen, and living areas. I cannot comfortably cook, store food, or put my clothes away without concern. I have documented numerous sightings, including baby roaches and adults carrying egg sacs. Despite reporting the issue and cooperating with pest control treatments,... the problem continues.
The infestation has affected my ability to sleep and has caused physical health concerns, including a documented rash after being bitten. On one occasion, I killed 15 roaches in my bedroom within 20 minutes. I repeatedly reported these issues and eventually contacted local code enforcement.
The pest problem is not the only concern. I can see daylight through my front door when it is closed, exposed nails have torn my clothing, several surfaces appear unfinished or improperly repaired, and there are broken doors within the unit. These issues were documented on my move-in inventory sheet. The apartment was also not properly cleaned and still contained belongings left behind by previous occupants.
I have sent more than ten emails regarding these concerns and received only a few responses, some of which repeated previous information without addressing my questions. I requested meetings on multiple occasions and received no response. I was never offered a transfer or meaningful accommodation and was told resolving the infestation could take three months or longer.
Communication from management has often been inconsistent and dismissive, making it difficult to obtain clear timelines or solutions. Maintenance issues have also continued, including trash left outside my unit and a fan left on the patio for an extended period.
Tenants should not have to live with pests in their beds while waiting months for habitability issues to be addressed. I encourage anyone considering renting here to thoroughly inspect the property and ask about pest control history, maintenance response times, and management communication before signing a lease.
I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to provide residents with safe, clean, and habitable living conditions. If I could leave zero stars, I would.
