Campus Quarters

I moved into campus quarters in may of 2022. I regretted it instantly. The property has trash covering the grass constantly, the pool was closed most of summer so you couldn’t go in, and I had to switch rooms twice before moving in. The room was disgusting upon moving in (there was food stuck in the carpet, nasty white stains all over things, dead bugs in the carpet, I can go on) and was still charged for a “cleaning fee”. I was initially paying for a pet fee the first couple of month however it… hasn’t been needed the last 3 months due to no pet being in the apartment anymore and I was told it would be taken care of. It wasn’t. It hasn’t. They don’t let you out of leases without unless you find someone that makes THREE times rent, good luck finding a college student that makes $2400 (minimum) a month ! They also have air b&b on the property with children and random people constantly coming in and out and smoking cigarettes and making the most noise possible. After almost 5 months of being moved out of the complex I was charged over $500 in damages. I received no formal notification of these charges, I found out about this through a collections agency. After attempting to contact the front office about these charges I was told to contact them via email. Emails would take 4-5 days and multiple followups to get any response. Don't live here.

Best apartment I've been in!!!! They have everything a bed a couch a whole kitchen ??

Have to leave at least one star to submit that's the only reason they are getting that. So our experience with this group has not been good. Recently my daughter finally got tired of the bugs, loud neighbors, trash in the breezeways, her bike was stolen, and the list goes on. We moved out. Oh and let me just add that when we moved in the apartment was not freshly painted nor was it clean. And not just a little unclean it was nasty. The carpet was so bad we rented a steam cleaner to clean it. It… had apparently never been vacuumed by the previous resident or even before that. The bathroom had vomit behind the commode. I understand that it's a college apartment but it was unacceptable. When we moved out we cleaned and made sure it was in excellent condition when we left. Imagine my surprise when several months later we receive a notice from a collection agency about 2 bills we have for this place. No letters from Campus Quarters had come before this. If they had I certainly would have addressed them. So, we now owe for a cleaning fee and a painting fee. So beware that when you move out they are going to charge you for what they should be doing as their job before you move in. Don't put your kids here it's pretty and shiny when you look at it but it quickly shows its cracks in management issues, bugs, and trash. .... One lovely example...The neighbors across the hall left trash on the stairs when they moved out. We are talking about rotten refrigerator items that burst open from a trash bag. It stayed in the stairwell until it rotted away. Oh, and it's not secure at all. Don't let those security gates fool ya. If they don't have an access clicker they just wait till someone enters and tailgate you. Usually, there are several waiting by the gates.
