Must Know

This apartment complex has some great features BUT for how much they are trying to charge to new renters I like to inform any potential applicants of some things. First, tenants do not have control of the a/c or heater. The complex has an old boiler/chiller system. That means if the weather changes and becomes unexpectedly hot or cold you must have fans or portable heaters. Additionally the system breaks down every summer and we are without a/c for a few days. Do not expect a fancy washer/dryer… facility. Currently we do not have a working dryer and only 2 working washing machines. To try to charge the price they want to for a unit that provides less than a 1,000 sq. ft applicants need to know the significant cons of living here before they rent

This apartment complex has some great features but for how much they are trying to charge to new renters I like to inform any potential applicants of some things. First, tenants do not have control of the a/c or heater. The complex has an old boiler/chiller system. Also, there is only one property director and so far maintenance issues have been a struggle to get filled. Many residents have experienced roach problems and the like and don't expect a fancy washer/dryer facility. For the price they… want to charge for a unit that provides less than a 1,000 sq. ft I though others should know beforehand.

Balto took over managing the property in the fall of 2022 and we would like the opportunity to talk and… investigate your feedback further. We have made many improvements to the Carriage House resident experience so far and look forward to making many more improvements. We have made improvements to our staffing model to ensure we have consistent community manager and maintenance presence at Carriage House. We have consistent pest control service, which takes place every other week.

RENTER BEWARE!!!

The management will not fix anything here. The front door to the complex has been broken for over a month now and they will ignore your requests for pest control. The roach issue is so bad that you cant even cook here. They have removed recycling and have cut trash pickup in half to once every two weeks. Not to mention they only use one dumpster for the entire complex. This place is disgusting and they are even raising the rent. Also you cant have anything delivered here because your packages… will get stolen from the people they hire to do whatever it is they pretend to do.

Its got a cool vibe.

This is a neat, older building with zen gardens, Buddahs, and gazing balls to suit just about anybody. I even got a burning sage aura cleansing from my new neighbor.
