Griffis Uptown

I really enjoyed my first year at Gables Uptown Trail. The leasing agents were friendly, helpful, and made moving in an easy process. The building has great amenities and the location is hard to beat.

However, everything changed when Sonya took over as property manager. Communication became inconsistent, maintenance issues were poorly handled, and the overall professionalism of the staff declined. I had repeated leaks that damaged my unit, and despite being told there were no issues at my... move-out inspection, I was charged for repairs—some of which were due to maintenance work, not tenant damage.

I was also charged for a fridge part without any photo documentation, and after reaching out multiple times, I was completely ignored by the office. It’s disappointing how quickly things went from great to frustrating under new leadership.

The complex is fine. Ok, not great but the management staff is what makes this a good place to rent. Thorough, responsive and actually care!

The best part about the Gables Uptown Trail is the office staff! They are QUICK to respond to all emails and issues. Love these girls! Vanessa and Valerie are awesome in the office and truly make the Uptown Trail Gables property one of the best to live at! The maintenance workers are also respectful of our apartment at all times and provide fast, efficient maintenance services.

Although the elevator on my side is not working 25% of the time, it is great. Good amenities, great location, fair market rent for being in Uptown Dallas.

Has been a good experience. I’ve enjoyed the convenience of being close to many restaurants and bars. A few groceries stores are close by but overall the location is very good. Aside from that the apartment complex itself feels safe and friendly.
