Maya at White Rock Apartments

Alex and her staff are friendly,understanding,caring and listen to whatever your needs are. They clean and beautify the area. Great amenities. I noticed they said the apartment complex was since 1984,but my husband and I moved in bld. 4 in 1983 before all the other buildings were built. St that time it was for adults only.. I quess they say 1984 for the finish products. They were still breaking ground and building the rest of the units.. It has gone under 3 owners,managers and staff. In... the last 10 or 12 years under Alex the manager and her staff my living has been great. The owner have given us the secure gating,brick walls around the grounds inplace of the railroad planks,new paint on the building, upgrading inside and keeping these apartments looking great. Alex,Lilly,Carlos and DeAndre are the main ones I know. They are so nice,understanding and repairs a problem very quickly. This is and has been my home for 30 plus year. I have lived at Coronado for 7 years and I’m leaving at the end of my lease . It was a good place to live until they remodeled and the vehicle break in started I’ve had tools and equipment stolen stolen multiple times even with extra locks . The only video monitoring is at the entrance and exit of the property and far a a security system goes there’s a gate code to enter the property but that hasn’t stopped anyone from breaking into cars. I have now been a resident of the Coronado Apartments for over two and a half years.

In November the owners began a project to completely renovate all of the apartments. In late February I moved within the complex to one of the just renovated units. It is like a new apartment. Everything is new, all new floors, all new carpet, all new appliances, all new cabinets, all new granite counter tops.

The renovation was well done. The monthly cost of my new units is higher than the from one but the... cost is a bargain compared to comparable rentals in the area.

The maintenance and office staffs are helpful. The grounds are well maintained. Another positive the apartments are only about a third of a mile from The White Rock Lake and Park.

My overall view of Coronado Apartments is that it is a safe, well maintained complex that offers excellent value. Read More

I have been a tenant for several years due to the great location, customer-friendly staff and attentive maintenance. I never comment on anything! But the kindness of the maintenance team particularly Leandro, moves me to leave a review. Along with their timely attention to maintenance issues, even the emergency late night weekend ones over the years which is their responsibility, they must be commended on how often they have a willingness to take on issues that it could be argued, do not... necessarily fall into their job description. It's extremely difficult to find an apartment any where near this cheap in the Lakewood/White Rock area. We lived here for 3 years and never had any issues with the neighbors or crime. The Maintenance crew is diligent in fixing small repairs. Great deal for such an awesome area.
