3 year resident- personal experiences

Just a few reasons-
1. Management is either unresponsive or untruthful 80% of the time you have an issue in your apartment or when they make a billing mistake. For example- they require residents to register cars or get towed. They ALSO delete resident car registrations and tow cars then deny they did anything regardless of the email evidence.
2. Lots of crime in garage and units getting broken into due to NO security at the site. Of course management simply blames the security company who does… 1 nightly patrol for 5 minutes as the culprit. Nothing else is done as management doesn't care about security.
3. Poor construction leads to frequently flooded apartments, bug problems, and AC units breaking often. Coupled with inept management and maintenance, you have a recipe for a nightmare that will never end.
4. Management will lie to your face on whether your apartment was flooded, thereby denying landlord responsibilities and legal requirement to replace flooring and moldy wall boards.
5. Local management frequently messes up billing, leading to additional charges for tenants. The solution to this is deny, deny, deny. And be unresponsive to complaints.

Trespassing and theft

I’ve been a resident here for 7 months. It’s a very nice place however that is ruined by theft.

This place is overrun with theft. The building is not secure. Management has been advised and asked to do something about it multiple times. We continue to have the same issues. Be warned if you move here, you will be a victim of theft. Security when called takes too long to arrive the thieve are long gone by the time they show up.

I’m sure management will respond to this with “As you know we cannot… prevent all theft, but we thrive to keep our residents as safe as possible” “please call the office to discuss your concern” …..

Well why don’t you LOCK DOWN THE BUILDING. Check every entry point multiple times a week to make sure they are functioning and actually lock. At the very least deactivate the dock door overnight.

We can call security night after night, but this will never do anything if the building continues to be left open. You are inviting them inside!

BEWARE

I’ve never felt the need to write a review for any apartment I’ve lived in, but this is the exception. Paper thin walls - this is an absolute nightmare for anyone who works from home or enjoys sleeping on the weekends. Emails to management will go completely unanswered so if you have a neighbor who loves to play music till 2am everyday you are out of luck. Elevator is ALWAYS broken - At least 9 times in the last year. And don’t even get me started on Parking! Do yourself a favor and find… somewhere else to live.

AMAZING BUILDING & PEOPLE

I've only lived at OOG for a short time but I love EVERYTHING about it. Jenny & Jonathan are amazing. The units and common areas are new, clean, and beautifully designed. The neighbors are super friendly and the location unbeatable.

Excellent apartment

If you are looking for an amazing apartment with an amazing staff this is it. This place has a great location, beautiful updated apartments and a fabulous staff. When I moved in Jenny (property manager) was quick to help, super knowledgeable and friendly. Since living here if I had any issues Pedro is there to help and get things fixed in a timely manner. Completely recommend this place!
