I am writing regarding the handling of my security deposit after moving out of my apartment at The Alexan, where I had a lease for two years.

At the end of my lease, no representative was available to complete a walk-through with me. I professionally cleaned the apartment prior to move-out and left it in as good, if not better, condition than when I moved in. Despite this, over $200 was deducted from my security deposit for “additional cleaning” and a cracked refrigerator drawer. I strongly... dispute these charges, as the unit was left clean, and the refrigerator drawer was not cracked at the time of my departure.

Additionally, I would note that throughout my tenancy the apartment was affected by a persistent, masked sewage odor that could never be fully covered or eliminated. This issue speaks to a preexisting condition in the unit that was not caused by me as a tenant.

The Alexan is nice, it’s a big community, located in the perfect area & it’s really quiet!

Alexan has a very nice ambiance very laid back vibes , very good quality appliances and amenities it’s a great choice! It’s super urban and Vibrant I couldn’t find this anywhere else I love it !

The community is very nice and super convenient to access to the Katy Trail.

The maintenance staff here is awesome! I see them working constantly around the property and they are always friendly. They respond to maintenance requests promptly and I know we are in good hands with the team! The Alexan is always looking clean and tiny thanks to their hard work!
