8/22/2025 WARNING!! WARNING!! DONT MOVE HERE!!

Keep in mind that East McKinney Street in Denton Texas is 1 minute from the prison and many, many homeless people daily walk on this street!! There are many low-income apartments close by also!
I made an error moving on this side of town since new from another state and did not do my research well and should have moved to Flower Mound or Frisco Texas!
There are ROACHES at Fountain of Denton, and I have asked over 10 residents about their ROACH issues which they replied-- gotta keep telling the… office about the issue but nothing is really accomplished to get rid of them!! UGGGHHH!!
Though getting a rent special--USE WISDOM AND NOT MOVE HERE when NEW apartments are much better choices!!! There are parking issues and you got to tour your apartment choice in details cuz you will have many maintenance issues!!!!!!
I have many pictures and videos of the maintenance issues that takes 2 full pages to list!!! Noise on the weekends with guests that look weird and though community is gated--be amazed what drives through the community to interrupt PEACE of mind!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!

Flooding, Bedbugs, and Predatory Towing

Within one year of living here it has flooded 3 times, had bedbugs in the walls for almost assuredly the entire year, and has towed our cars as residents 4 times. The manager is curt and ineffectual, and the apartments cramped and moldy. Be aware that if you move here you will get bedbugs, as they will not exterminate the buildings, just use bandaid measures to try to keep them out of rooms and in the walls. The maintenance men are incredible, but you can only patch a sinking ship so much before… it takes too much water.

Awesome management

I’ve lived in several apartment communities as well as worked in the industry previously for 16 years! I can tell you without hesitation this community and management staff and team members are considerably amazing compared to what is out there today in the market. I am very impressed with everything I have experience at this community that’s far. I would definitely recommend residing here.

Nice place to live at

Quiet safe feeling apartment complex. Plenty of amenities. Staff wonderful and friendly . Complex well maintained. Not far from downtown or getting onto the Loop.

Bad and good

The size for a first apartment was good. The best part was how big the tub is but other then that I wouldn’t live here again. Management was awful. Every time I would call to get something fixed I would have to call multiple times then weeks later it would get fixed or I would give up. For a whole year no one fixed the carpet that was put down incorrectly to begin with. I called every to every other week to get it fixed by the time we moved out we were charged for “carpet damages”. If you have… pets don’t love here either. Every time it rains the park floods and no one knows how to keep their dog on a leash. I had a yorkie come into my apartment when I was trying to leave because her owner just let her run around. The gate never works and the guy who works after hours for emergency is never available. Also some took their fire alarm out threw it in the garbage right outside my place. The thing went off for hours, I called and called someone finally answered said he couldn’t do anything as he wasn’t in town (every time I called he “wasn’t in town”) so I had to go dumpster diving...
