They are shady

Avoid Algarita Apartments. Daughter lived here and was an absolutely horrible experience. Lack of communication, inability of the maintenance to actually install a cabinet for over 2 years, and issues ending lease. She gave ample time for notification of vacancy, however they’re pretending like they didn’t actually see the email that WAS sent to then AND replied. Now they’re trying to get her to pay month to month and she’s not even in state. There’s a reason that they’re not part of the BBB and... there’s no phone number for the owners at Firmus Mgmt in Austin. Even speaking with the city council it was apparent they’ve heard of issues with this place. Avoid at all cost. This review will be posted in several sites to get maximum distribution.
