Waterford Market Apartments

The apts of Waterford are very satisfying. The swimming, the weight room is to die for. This complex has every machine for a hell of a workout. The venting machines have the best quality products when you need something fast. This complex is near to and is in the middle of everything. If possible I hope to go back and live there. I called this place my HOME. I felt safe and my car was protected in the foor garage. So convenience for me. No brother from anyone. Thank you Waterford. Dont forget… the Market next door. The building itself is nice, the management and neighbors are most definitely NOT.

We moved in to our apartment July 2021, and had been plagued with issues since move in.

- The pest control was completely useless, we found centipedes everywhere, and even requesting pest control took over 2 weeks for someone to actually come out and spray pesticide. Even after a treatment, there are bugs all over the place.

- One of the apartments above ours dumps bleach water off their balcony every Saturday,… which ends up covering everything on our patio with a mixture of bleach and water. We called and emailed about it multiple times, and the most that management could do was call our upstairs neighbors and ask them to stop. As expected, it did not stop and we still can't use our patio every Saturday since its covered in bleach water.

- the neighbors directly above us allow their kids to play basketball directly above our office. This started almost immediately after we moved in, and management has done nothing to stop it. At some point, you gotta start levying fines or penalties to stop stuff like that

- Trash pickup is spotty. Most weeks its fine, but then other days, and entire floor is missed for pickup, and we get notes saying we can't leave our trash bins out, even though it was never picked up.

- Our shower had a crack in the base, which led to water soaking in and rotting the walls. It took almost 6 weeks for it to be fixed, which meant that baseboards and nails were exposed and resulted in an injury to our kitten.

Because of all these issues, we started looking for a house to move into probably a month after we moved in, and we were able to close on one in February 2022. Management still had the balls to tell us that we'd have to pay an early termination fee, even though we were moving because of all the issues that they failed to address, claiming that they did their "due diligence" to rectify all of the issues.

If you're considering living here, RUN AWAY NOW. I've rented apartments all over Dallas over the last 10 years, and this was easily the worst experience of all of them. All of the good reviews are because they offer points to redeem for gift cards if you leave them a 5 star review. Read More
