Avoid This Apartment Community

I moved to Amberlin Georgetown in October. Since moving to this new apartment community, I have experienced a variety of issues. The construction materials are cheap and the finish-out work is sloppy. During move in, I discovered holes in a wall, nails protruding from walls, cracks in both the front and balcony door frames, a missing kitchen backsplash tile and a loud rattling noise in the HVAC unit. Work orders for the backsplash tile and HVAC unit were submitted in late October. On-site… management has not been responsive and I eventually contacted the regional manager for action. The HVAC unit was not repaired until January 12th and I have heard nothing about backsplash tile. Due to the cheap construction, I can hear every step my upstairs neighbor and her huge dog take.

Based on my experience, I would definitely not recommend Amberlin Georgetown to potential residents.
