I would give this 0 stars if I could.
PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER LIVING HERE- Don’t be fooled by the price of rent here (Read Below).
I recently terminated my lease with Cali Crossing-and I have never felt so relieved. While I was there, there was a lack of communication from management prior to new management coming in however, even when I try to ask a question I need to take a day off or use my lunch break just to come to the office and leave work to ask a question- since I rarely received any responses.
I would also have to... deal with random problems within my units-like the AC going out and having to travel to a store in the middle of the night just to buy a fan so I don’t sweat myself while sleeping.
I was living on the first floor of the building and I would continuously have to bear the sounds of the upstairs neighbor. The floors were extremely thin and would wake me up in the middle of the night for continuous months- I had to hear and endure at anywhere between 2 to 5 AM on a daily basis. Imagine coming home after a long shift and having to hear that when you’re trying to get some rest. I could barely function some days because the sleep was not sufficient and some nights I would actually stay at a friends place to avoid this altogether. To make matters worse, I actually reached out to the property manager to ask and possibly find a solution to this, but she implied that I should’ve known about this since this is a nature of the building. As such, nothing was done, and I had to patiently wait to terminate the lease. Despite me not having an adequate means to stay in my own apartment, I still had to pay a termination fee.
Much more, every morning at 4:30 or 5 o’clock, there are so many people that would start their cars at an obnoxiously loud level (revving). Due to so many inconveniences, people would wake up to this and possibly have to deal with crying children. Also, there was always loud music playing within the three buildings away from me. As in, you can hear the music coming from the opposite side of the complex at random hours of the day. This could happen when you’re working from home or even when you’re trying to sleep. Sometimes it would be so loud that I would have to call it in for a noise complaint.
in conclusion, please do not consider living here-it is not worth paying a fractional rent and have to suffer through this horrible apartment complex.
