Severe Towing Policy - No friends, or family allowed

Apartments are decent, but they are extremely strict when it comes to vehicle TOWING. Even with a visitor parking permit, you are only allowed to have family members, or friends over until 10 P.M. Otherwise, they will be towed at owners expense, $250, each passing day. Tow trucks are ALWAYS circulating the property like vultures, if a friend, or family member comes to visit without a visitor parking permit, they are guaranteed to be towed in less than 15 minutes.
It doesn't quite feel like a… home when your friends, or family members can't visit you when they want. If you like having family, or friends over look somewhere else.
They did not explain the towing policy until after I had already moved in and signed my contract.

Overall Decent Community

I lived at The Franklin for 2 1/2 years before relocating out of state. Overall I felt the community was safe and even though there were a few instances that neighbors were loud or inconsiderate I would still move back. Management is helpful and so was maintenance. After living in other places since moving I realize how much I miss the complex.

maintenance

clean and quiet but and again and again, maintenance ... maintenance ... maintenance and promises . "make sure you send written request and get written confirmation on any single maintenance you need for you apartment"

The Franklin

We first moved here 3 years ago, it was nice and had a very reasonable price. We moved away and came back and the prices had went way up. We could only afford a 1 bedroom. Me, my husband, and our 5 yr old son in a 1 bedroom. Tough. We had a break in during Christmas, didn't receive much help from management. I loved this place but I want to move somewhere safer with space and a better school for my son. At first everything was fine and still is (sort of), but now I'm thinking of other things,… and what is best for my family.
