The Burke Apartments

I cannot recommend this property based on my experience. After completing the application process and paying a $600 deposit, along with application and administrative fees, I toured the unit I was expected to lease and was shocked by its condition. The unit had a significant roach infestation, making it completely unacceptable for move-in.

Because of the condition of the apartment, I chose not to take possession of the unit and never signed a lease. No one should be expected to move into a home... with an apparent pest problem, especially after investing time and money into the leasing process.

What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of accountability afterward. Despite raising my concerns immediately, I have spent months trying to resolve the matter and recover my deposit, with little to no meaningful communication from management. The units are only affordable as a result of the conditions they are upkept in. This is a great property with a nice pool and the cleanest laundry room I've ever seen. The club house and the manager are very nice and helpful. I had a couple of maintenance items and they were taken care of in a day so that was nice. My wife feels safe and I like the location as its close to my work.

The property is beautiful. New management has done an unbelievable job at upgrading the property. While the rent costs a little bit more than it used it, the property is WAYY nicer, and worth every penny of additional rent. I highly recommend staying here. Such a gem!

I can't believe the change the new management has made at the Burke Apartments (formerly Ashwood Park). The amenities and common areas are spotless and up to date with a brand new laundry facility, pool area etc. The gym and clubhouse are first class, but what completely sets it apart is the way you are treated by office staff. This is what quality apartment living is supposed to be. Blessed to have found this.
