I’ve lived here 4 years and they’ve never opened the pool (or discounted our rent bc of it), all kinds of rough things go down in the parking lots and around the buildings that management does nothing about. When there are any complaints about noise or people DRIVING across the playground they don’t do anything about it. Playground has been broken for over two years and won’t fix it. Difficult to contact the office, usually “I’m not the person who can answer your question” then never get a... response. Maintenance is pretty quick to respond for the most part. Management has changed 4 times since I’ve gotten here, for what that is worth.

the office staff is amazing. Great customer service. Get stuff done quickly. If a work order needs to be taken care of they get it done.
IF you move here please be prepared for a least 5 years old used carpet, broken appliances, and holes in the wall patch up. That’s not the worst if you enjoy living in infested bed bug apartment this is the place for you. Don’t believe take a drive through the apartments and see the garbage can full of mattress furniture every other day. Management are aware of this problem and refuse to assist. You will be charge for the cost of a half treatment and left to start all over. The whole complex... is horrible we have rats in the bushes, all type of bugs here. The property will always have trash all over the parking lot. One of the worst choices I ever made was moving here. I have had to call the City of Plano multiply times to get this matter resolved. Please take my WARRING!!!!!

Each apartment is treated for bed bugs prior to move in, there is an addendum on your lease stating this. Therefore, if the unit is bed bug infested it is because the resident brought them in, which is why they are responsible for the cost.... Furthermore, we have complimentary pest control every Friday, if any resident has an issue with any kind of pest it is their responsibility to make us aware in order to have it resolved. Residents throwing away furniture after business hours is out of our control, we do however have a porter who cleans the property daily and the garbage truck also comes daily. Residents with apartments facing the creek may see rabbits or other rodents but again that is out of our control. Lastly, our property stays at 95-99% occupied which is good indication that residents enjoy living here.

Garden Gate Apartments
Garden Gate apartments: Staff is unprofessional, manager is only decent person here, Roach infested and manager has promised to take care of the issue but isn't trying hard enough (too many excuses and promises not kept). This place isn't worth the price of the rent. RUN AWAY! Run Far, Far, Away! Don't be caught by their lies and false promises,they will never follow through.

The property has been under completely new management as of 02/2016. We have complimentary pest for control on property every Friday, if residents have any pest issues they can call in and have the issue resolved.
