The View at Sapphire Bay

I moved into this property about a month ago due to a work relocation, and honestly, this is the nicest apartment community I've lived in.

I was discussing the property with someone recently and, out of curiosity, decided to look up the reviews. After coming across a negative review, I felt compelled to share my own experience because it has been completely different. As a new resident, I was not encouraged or asked to write a review - I simply wanted to share my perspective.

The management… team has been wonderful, the community is beautiful, and the surrounding area is just as impressive. One thing I really appreciate is how diverse both the complex and the neighborhood are. It's also very pet-friendly, which is a huge plus. Another major factor for me was the location. It's very convenient for commuting to work, especially if you're traveling over the bridge, and that was extremely important in my apartment search.

I haven't experienced any of the issues mentioned in the review. Of course, everyone's experience is different, but sometimes people focus more on the negatives than the positives.

Maintenance has also been very responsive. I submitted a request because my refrigerator needed a new water filter, and the issue was resolved within one business day. I also reported an issue with the elevator to the front desk, and that was addressed within one business day as well.

The only issue I've noticed so far is that some residents don't always pick up after their dogs. Given how many waste stations and bag dispensers are located throughout the community, I think this is something management could continue to emphasize with residents. Fortunately, it's a relatively minor issue compared to how positive my overall experience has been.

If you're considering this property, I encourage you to come see it for yourself rather than letting one negative review shape your opinion. So far, my experience has been nothing but positive, and I'm very happy to call this place home.

Super Clean and hallways smell so good!
I would recommend this apartment 100%!

I recently toured and considered this community, but my experience raised several red flags.

First, the property itself showed signs of poor upkeep. The hallways were not clean, and I personally saw large roaches in more than one area during my visit. That is not something anyone should encounter when viewing an apartment.

Second, communication with management has been frustrating. There were issues around renter’s insurance where I was told I didn’t have coverage, only to later find out it… was an internal error on their side. This mistake caused me to be double-charged for insurance until it was eventually resolved.

Third, promises were made that were never followed through. For example, I was told a bedroom carpet issue would be addressed at move-in and that a free carpet cleaning would be done for renewal — neither of which happened. Yet, I am now being billed for a full carpet replacement.

Lastly, something that stood out to me is the inconsistency of the reviews for this property. When I first looked, there were a number of negative reviews. Later, many of those seemed to disappear, leaving mostly positive ones. It makes it hard to know what’s accurate, and I think it’s important that future renters see the full picture.

Overall, the combination of pest issues, broken promises, and questionable review practices left me very uneasy about renting here. I strongly recommend future renters look closely and ask questions before committing. Read More

I have genuinely never loved living anywhere more. Carrie and the office team are so amazing. I genuinely love how diverse the complex is and how welcoming everyone is. I feel safe and taken care of. So thankful to of found The View! Carrie makes sure everything is clean, everyone is taken care of and genuinely is the kindest soul I have ever met. TY so much for allowing a safe space for our baby girl to grow up!
