They're very nice but weirdly expensive at times.
I lived here at Creek 27 for a little over a year. While the location and apartments are really nice, I had several concerns during my time there.
The units did not seem to be well insulated at all, and my electric bill was consistently high, sometimes even higher than what friends paid in 2-3 bedroom houses... Water billing is also unusual; I was reportedly using the exact same amount of water every month, yet the cost increased nearly every other month despite no change in usage. Toward the... end of my lease, I was paying about four times what I had typically paid for water at other apartments I’ve lived in. One month, I was out of town for a week and a half, and my water bill didn’t change at all, despite being gone for nearly half the month.
When I moved out, I made a point to clean the apartment thoroughly to avoid the high cleaning fee. I was previously told that the shower area did not need to be spotless due to them having to do work on mine during my lease, yet I was still charged the full cleaning fee due to missed areas. It was frustrating to be expected to clean the unit thoroughly, only to be charged for professional cleaning anyway. Which raises the question: shouldn’t it be professionally cleaned between all tenants regardless?
What was even more frustrating about this is that the apartment was not clean when I moved in; there were chunks of drywall and drywall powder on the counters, the floor and the appliances that I had to clean myself upon moving in. It would've been nice if the move-in and move-out standards were held to similar standards.
While this may not reflect everyone's experience, I wanted to share mine to help others make informed decisions.
