Alamo Heights Apartments

We made the mistake of moving in here because we really like the location. We now understand that the only reason this place is affordable is because of how bad the apartments are. They are so old and have had really bad patchwork done and redone for decades. Whatever investment company owns this property is too cheap to take care of the apartments they manage. Plus the washer and dryers are so old they ruin your clothes as much as they “clean” them. We signed a one year lease and we are looking... forward to moving out when it’s done. I am sill waiting to have a working refrigerator since move in. Steven and Tonya don’t relay messages. The Manager must not read weekly reports. Must have a shortage of maintenance workers or not trained ones.

The new management team has really stepped it up over the last year. The outside exterior has gotten a chic, more modern face lift. Maintenance has always responded in a timely manner, and the office staff always seems cheerful and happy to help me. I absolutely love the new resident portal. It is an easy way to keep me informed of what is going on in my community.

RATS EVERYWHERE!!! Lived there for a year and caught over 23 rats in our apartment!! Management is a joke, they simply do not care. There is mold in the ceilings, maintenance spends their time smoking in the back of the apartments by the dumpster and you can't park on the side of the street or you will get a ticket if you stay over night. DON'T RENT FROM HERE!
