Antonian Apartments

They constantly lie. During the time that I lived there, the previous complaint is still a VERY valid one. The homeless living by McDonalds, the drama and cops all the time, the dog rules constantly broken, laundry never available... I lived here for 1 yr. and I am glad that I got out as quick as I could. I took myself off the lease, including signing paperwork to do so. My ex-husband stayed. I kept getting calls and things for them, so I called to ensure that I was off the lease. Time and time… again, they said yes, that I was just listed as a past resident in that unit. My ex stayed and signed a new lease with our oldest daughter, who was 19 at the time. They moved out a year later or so later, now I am getting collections letters from some agency telling me that I owe them money... I do not think so. Tammy, the property manager, is one of the rudest people I have ever met and she has the assistants acting the same to people. Now my credit has a ding because these people can not get their acts together and manage the property accordingly. If I could give a lower score than 1 star, I would as they do not even deserve that. The best part of my experience here would have to be the "GETTING IN." The process was quick and not very thorough. Recently, a different crowd started moving in and out within 3 months, so I guess their qualifications have lowered. They supposedly have 24 hour security that I see maybe once a week, even less lately. 5 laundry facilities (THAT ARE ALWAYS FULL). 3 swimming pools, one of which is usually "closed for maintenance." There is a gate with security code for entry, but for some reason… its ALWAYS RIGGED OPEN! So anyone can come and go as they please. My absolute worst experience here is the parking!!! They have minimal covered parking, one per apartment, which isn't the worst part. Shouldn't your covered parking space be close to you apartment? Well mine is literally down the block and around the corner! I have a 2 year old daughter and don't feel safe walking that far by ourselves at night, especially knowing security is not around as much. There is uncovered or open parking right in front of my building, but some of these apartments have 3 or 4 people that all have their own cars, even though there is a 2 person per room limit. Another thing I don't like is they are trying to force renters insurance on everyone, and if you don't get it they add a fee to your rent.
