Bellaire Oasis at Oakwell {20211222}

When I first moved in one of the building caught fire and now the building is occupied by the homeless seeking shelter. Twice EMS had to be called for overdoses in March alone. The property management was replaced after the fire and this property management sucks even worse than better. My windows don't lock, no security measures on my door (no peep hole). There is no 24 hr maintenance/emergency line. The police actually told me to get the heck out of this complex as quick as possible!!

The pictures on the website do not look like this place does in person. It appears that they may be working on things around here. I was very disappointed when I moved here. The pool has only a little bit of green stagnant water with trash in it. Teenagers always throw their chip bags, cans, etc. down on the ground and parking lot. The grill is missing. All the wall and ceiling hole patches look terrible. Not professionally done at all, not even close. Paint on all door handles, light switch... plates, everything. Seriously looks like a child did the painting and sheetrock patch work. It IS nice and quiet place to live so far and I really hope that all of this is actually being worked on. I have lived here over a year there was a capitol murderer living above me and a 24 hour stand off with police they DONT fix anything we went 5 months without heat/air DO NOT MOVE HERE the pool is NEVER clean either

I’ve lived here for 6 months and so far I love it. The area is convenient for me and the staff is very nice and helpful. No issues with pest so far either!

Community is NOT well kept! Office attempts to push tenants to keep clean and there’s trash everywhere. Water is always off for so called issues. Mail is forwarded to to post office due to “broken” boxes when my box wasn’t broken. Rodents within walls and office nor maintenance took it as an urgent issue and just set traps when I confirmed it was more than that. Corporate is NO help and don’t treat any issue as urgent and do not communicate or apologize for lack of attention. Don’t respond to... emails or messages and don’t have any sense of urgency.
